US' textiles & apparel imports drop 20.9% to $97 bn in Jan-Nov 2023

In the first 11 months of 2023, US textile and apparel imports fell by 20.98 per cent to $97.427 billion, with China remaining the top supplier. Apparel imports dropped by 22.40 per cent, and non-apparel by 16.57 per cent. All major suppliers, except Mexico in non-apparel, reported declines. This followed a rise in 2022 when imports reached $132.201 billion.
