UK’s clothing imports down 37% to £1.27 bn in Nov 2023

In November 2023, UK’s clothing imports decreased by 37.74 per cent to £1.275 billion from 2022, with textile fabric and fibre imports also falling. The third quarter of 2023 saw £4.164 billion in clothing imports. In 2022, total clothing imports were £21.255 billion, a 23.50 per cent increase from 2021. Clothing exports in Nov 2023 totalled £357 million.
