Sri Lanka's garment exports drop 20% to $4,032 mn in Jan-Nov 2023

During January to November 2023, Sri Lanka's garment exports fell by 20 per cent to $4,032.9 million, reflecting a broader decline in textile and related exports due to the global economic slowdown. The country’s total industrial exports from textiles constituted 52.30 per cent, even as overall imports of textile products also decreased significantly.
